The 14-inch MacBook Pro adds M6 with a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU. The base configuration includes 16GB of unified memory and 1TB of storage, with options reaching 32GB and 4TB.

Apple reports up to 30% faster graphics than M5 and up to 1.3 times faster Xcode project builds in its tests. The laptop retains Liquid Retina XDR, adds Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and supports two external displays. Connections include three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, SDXC, and MagSafe 3. Apple advertises up to 24 hours of battery life, rather than 24 hours under sustained development workloads.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (available), and up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports. Apple reports up to twice the graphics performance of M4 in selected tests. Those results describe Apple's measured workloads, not every application.

Announced October 26, the new iPad mini combines A20 Pro with an 8.5-inch OLED screen. The enclosure measures 5.4mm thick and carries an IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating.

The tablet adds a landscape-edge 12MP Center Stage camera, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. Cellular versions use Apple's C2 modem. Storage options are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. US prices start at $699 for Wi-Fi and $849 for Wi-Fi + Cellular. Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C remain compatible.

Creator Studio's November update brings built-in MotionVFX content to Final Cut Pro, a beta assistant and expanded drum separation to Logic Pro, and Generate Fill to Pixelmator Pro.

Keynote, Pages, and Numbers gain beta assistants and Model Context Protocol support for external tools to read documents, make edits, and automate actions. Keynote also adds the JSON-based Keynote Interchange Format, with the .keyx extension.

The updates cost existing subscribers nothing extra. US subscription pricing is $12.99 monthly or $129 annually. Free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform remain available.

Siri AI expands to five more languages

The 27.2 software updates, released October 26, add French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish to Siri AI's existing English support. The assistant remains in beta and requires compatible Apple Intelligence hardware.

Apple still excludes Siri AI from iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS in the European Union. Apple plans to add support for Traditional Chinese, Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese before the end of 2026.
